Exclusive to Myka Candles & Moulds and hand-poured in Australia using premium platinum-cure silicone.

Introducing our exclusive Evil Eye & Pyramid Eye Candle Collection, designed with a sleek, mystical aesthetic that blends ancient symbolism with modern practicality. These stunning pieces serve as both a powerful protective talisman and a functional work of art.

  • The Nazar (Classic Evil Eye): A striking, front-facing oval candle featuring the traditional concentric circles of protection. Rendered in deep cobalt, crisp white, and sky blue, it is designed to ward off negativity and bring peace to your space.
  • The All-Seeing Pyramid: A bold, triangular design in a warm, honey-gold hue. This candle features an embossed eye with radiating celestial beams, symbolizing wisdom, intuition, and higher consciousness.

All our handcrafted moulds are made from platinum-cure silicone, which is tear-resistant and can withstand temperatures up to 230°C. Unlike regular moulds, moulds made with platinum-cure silicone are long-lasting and can have a shelf life of over 30 years.

To use our moulds, thread the wick through the top and bottom on the mould, ensuring it is taut and centred. Pour in melted wax and allow your candle to cure overnight before carefully unmoulding.

Mould Perfomance & Storage

The physical life of the mould depends on how you use it (materials cast, frequency, etc.). Casting abrasive materials such as concrete can quickly erode mould detail, while casting non-abrasive materials, such as wax, will not affect mould detail. Do not over-stretch or use any abrasive tools or fingernails when demoulding.

Before storing, the mould should be cleaned with a soap solution and fully dry. Two part moulds should be assembled. Moulds should be stored on a level surface in a cool, dry environment to maintain its original shape.

Disclaimer: mould is poured and trimmed by hand and therefore may have some minor exterior imperfections.

How To Use

Silicone Candle Moulds:

Thread the wick through the centre of the mould and secure it in place with a wick holder. For best results, gently warm the inside of the mould with a heat gun before pouring, especially for designs with fine details, lettering, deep textures, or narrow areas. This helps the wax flow into small details more evenly and can reduce trapped air bubbles and visible pour lines.

Pour in your melted wax and allow it to cool and fully set before carefully unmoulding. Depending on the wax used, a second pour may be required to level the base. Always keep the heat gun moving and avoid overheating the silicone.

Acrylic PVC Candle Moulds:

Thread the wick through the wick hole and secure it with a wick holder. Seal the hole with Blu Tack to prevent leaking, then pour in your melted wax. A second pour may be needed depending on the wax used. Allow the candle to set fully before unmoulding. If needed, gently squeeze the sides of the mould to help release the candle.

Concrete Trays & Vessels:

Mix your chosen casting material according to the manufacturer’s instructions, then pour it into the mould. Gently tap the mould to help release trapped air bubbles and allow the piece to cure fully before demoulding.

If using the finished vessel for candles, apply at least two coats of a suitable heat-resistant sealer to the inside and outside. Allow the sealer to dry and cure completely before adding wax.

Mould Performance & Storage

Our silicone moulds are handcrafted from premium platinum-cure silicone, chosen for its durability, flexibility, tear resistance, and long lifespan. While the silicone can withstand high temperatures, prolonged exposure to excessive heat should be avoided.

Mould life will vary depending on the material used and frequency of casting. Abrasive materials such as concrete may gradually wear down fine details, while non-abrasive materials such as wax are much gentler on the mould. Avoid overstretching and do not use sharp tools or fingernails when demoulding.

Before storing, wash the mould with a mild soap solution and allow it to dry completely. Two-part moulds should be reassembled and stored flat in a cool, dry place to help maintain their shape.

Please note: Each mould is poured and trimmed by hand, so minor exterior imperfections may occur.
